Peel, cube and wash 2 large potatoes.
Wash drumsticks (fresh cut into pieces or frozen). It is a veggies which has a soft flesh inside. While eating relish the inside while discard the tough outside of it.
For the tempering: Heat 2 tbsp. oil, add 1 tsp. mustard seeds, 2 green chillies, curry leaves, turmeric and hing.
Add cubed potatoes and drumsticks.
Add water, enough to cover the potatoes and drumsticks as they can cook well.
Add salt and turmeric. Cover and let them cook for 7-8 minutes. Drumstick absorbs salts and other flavors and tastes amazing.
Meanwhile prepare a yogurt paste that will be added to cooked veggies.
In 2 cups yogurt add 2 tbsp. chick pea flour, salt, pinch of turmeric, 2 tsp. chilli powder, 1 tbsp. coriander powder. Mix well and leave it aside.
When your veggies are cooked, slowly add in the yogurt mixture while stirring.
Cover and bring it to a boil. Remember chickpea flour was raw and needs to be cooked in.
Time for taste test. :)
